Nose Symptoms:

Frequent nosebleeds (epistaxis), especially on stooping, during straining at stool, on bodily exertion, and in fevers. In fever, this nosebleed often occurs after four o’clock in the morning.

The patient feels a stuffy nose even with a slight cold. There is soreness in the nostrils and bones of the nose. Thick yellow or green offensive mucus discharge from the nose in coryza. The tip of the nose feels sensitive, appears red, and drips water.

Eczema of the nose. Eruptions upon the nose and in the corners of the nose. Swelling of the nose from erysipelas.

Face Symptoms:

In face there is erysipelatous swelling, with burning, itching, and tingling. Initially, it is bright red, but later becomes purple and forms pits on applying pressure. This swelling is rapidly extending. Often it extends from the left to the right side of the face.

There are fever blisters around the mouth after typhoid fever. The corner of the mouth is ulcerated.
